A singer songwriter out of Houston Texas, getting ready to release her 4th album "Texas Star",
produced by rockabilly guitar super hero Phil DeVille of Mustang Lightning.
Releasing three Cd's in the past few years; Comin Home 2004, West Texas Sun, 2004,
and Mandy Smith Group 2003 at the Hard Rock Cafe Houston, she has struggled to balance
performing, creating and producing her sound through the independent label Manfred Productions.
Mandy has performed with some international acts including underground supergroup Stone Coyotes
and ecelctic Blues Man Guy Forsythe, with some other choice highlights playing the
Champs Americana Superbowl VIP party 2004, and holding court at the SXSW
with an on air with Texas Live performance. Mandy Smith's music is not the same old stuff.
Her songs are played on playlists around the world and her live performance
delivers raw energy that is emotionally charged and thought provoking.
Playing with a band and sometimes with a lone guitar,
this artist is a true lover of  songwriting and the Americana genre of music and
